  1. This version of Gestalt was necessary due to an error in Inside Macintosh Volume 6.  The XCMD returns a comma delimited list of 58 features of the Macintosh you are using.  While it was built with the new MPW interfaces for System 7.0, it only requires System 6.0.4 or above to operate. Keywords: Gestalt,SysEnvirons,XCMD,All-American
